Garry B. Coston's musical roots began as a child in North Florida, and continued on with vocal instruction and vocal sight reading and theory learning while in high school, and later composing and writing songs.  A native Floridian originally from Jacksonville Florida, Garry has performed vocals and general percussion with just about all genres of music from soul/R&B, to rock and roll, to blues and jazz.  Garry's soul, R&B, and gospel roots can clearly be heard in his vocal delivery.  

Garry has performed while he was with the United States Navy, in South Florida (mainly Miami and Fort Lauderdale), in Europe in the country of Germany in the 1990's, and now in West Central Florida in the Tampa/St. Pete/Sarasota-Bradenton areas.  Since 2004 Garry has had the pleasure to perform with West Central Florida Bands Late Night Brass (Kip Cline), Funk Monster Band (Richard James), and a blues review/band with Marko Pocta. Garry is thrilled to be a member of "Kickin Again," providing our fans with the finest in soul, R&B, Funk, and classic rock music, and other types of music that we may perform for you.
