I am from Lexington, North Carolina and I have been singing since the age of 14. I started singing through a local radio station. I had wanted to win Mary J Blige tickets so I had to sing one of her songs.
When I won the tickets that’s when my career started. They got me an audition scheduled for a gospel play called “Rise” featuring celebrities such as Christopher “Play” Martin from the hit TV movies House Party, Cheryl “Salt” James from the rap female group Salt n Pepper, and Shar “Niece” Jackson from the sitcom Moesha. I was an actor/singer in this play.
I then started working in a local band called 85 South we performed at many locations, clubs, park events, etc. I participate in many church functions doing a lot of singing with community choirs, churches, funerals, weddings, etc.
In 2009 I was a runner up for Triad Idol for the state of North Carolina. A previous lead singer for a local band called “Truality”. I love to sing and to perform. I believe singing a song is to be told like a story and that is exactly what I do
